Change Your Password

Regularly updating your password helps keep your CompetitionSuite account secure.

How to Change Your Password

1. Go to Settings > Security
2. In the Password section, click Change Password
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password
5. Enter your new password again to confirm
6. Click Save

Password Requirements

Your new password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long
• Be different from your current password

Tips for a strong password:

• Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
• Include numbers and special characters
• Avoid common words or personal information
• Consider using a password manager

Troubleshooting

I forgot my current password

If you don't remember your current password, you'll need to reset it:

1. Log out of CompetitionSuite
2. On the login page, click Forgot Password?
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your inbox for a reset link
5. Follow the link to create a new password

My new password isn't being accepted

• Ensure it's at least 8 characters long
• Make sure the password and confirmation match exactly
• Try a different password if the current one seems too simple

I keep getting logged out after changing my password

This is normal behavior. After changing your password:

• You may need to log in again on other devices
• Browser-saved passwords will need to be updated
• Any saved login sessions will be refreshed

Security Recommendations

• Change your password every few months
• Don't reuse passwords from other websites
• Enable two-step verification for additional security
• Never share your password with others
