Performance Music
The Performance Music tab allows you to view and upload your group's performance music for an event. Event organizers use this music during your performance or for backup purposes.
Accessing Performance Music
- Navigate to Events > Upcoming Events
- Find the event you want to manage
- Click the Performance Music tab
Tab Availability
The Performance Music tab appears when:
- The event organizer has enabled performance music uploads
- Your group type requires performance music (e.g., marching bands)
- You have Music Upload permission for your group
Tip: Staff members with Administrator access automatically have Music Upload permission.
If the tab is grayed out, you don't have permission to upload music. Contact your group administrator to request access.
Understanding the Status
Before the Cutoff
When you can still upload or change your performance music, you'll see a blue information banner:
Performance music changes are accepted for this event until [date/time].
This means you can upload new music or replace existing music until the deadline.
After the Cutoff (Music Uploaded)
If the upload period has closed and you previously uploaded music, you'll see a green success banner:
Performance Music Locked! The performance music for this event has been locked! Uploading music will only be applied to future events.
Your uploaded music is locked in for this event. Any new uploads will apply to future events only.
After the Cutoff (No Music)
If the upload period closed without any music uploaded, you'll see a red warning banner:
Performance Music Locked! No performance music was uploaded prior to the cutoff [date/time]!
Contact the event organizer if you missed the deadline and need to submit music.
Performance Music Details
When viewing the Performance Music tab, you'll see:

| Upload Cutoff | The deadline for submitting or changing music |
| Performance Music | Link to download your current uploaded file |
| Uploaded On | Date and time the music was uploaded |
| Uploaded By | Email address of the staff member who uploaded the music |
Uploading Music
To upload or replace your performance music:
- Click the Upload Performance Music button
- Follow the upload process on the music upload page

Note: The upload button is only visible before the cutoff deadline.
Status Indicators
The Performance Music tab displays an icon to indicate your status:

|---|---|
| Green checkmark | Performance music has been uploaded |
| Yellow warning triangle | No performance music uploaded yet |
Troubleshooting
I can't see the Performance Music tab
- The event may not require performance music
- You may not have Music Upload permission
- Your group type may not require music uploads
I missed the upload deadline
Contact the event organizer directly. They may be able to accept your music through other means.
My music file won't upload
