Voting - Summary

Voting lets you poll the groups in your organization directly inside CompetitionSuite. A common use case is an annual Rules Meeting or membership meeting, where each group's delegate casts a vote on a variety of topics and the results are tabulated for you automatically.

Each vote (sometimes called a ballot) has one delegate per group. Group administrators can either be assigned a delegate by you, or choose their own, depending on how you configure the vote. When you open an item for voting, delegates make their selections in real time and you watch the results come in.

How Voting Works

Setting up and running a vote follows five steps. Work through them in order:

  1. Create a vote — give the vote a name and set its options.
  2. Add groups and assign voting delegates — decide who can vote.
  3. Create voting items — the questions delegates will answer.
  4. Open your vote — make the vote visible and open items for voting.
  5. View your results — see how each group voted.

You can also make any item a secret vote so that only the delegate knows how they voted.

Find Your Votes
