Managing Access
Event access is managed through Organization Settings:
- Go to Organization > Settings (gear icon)
- Navigate to People
- Find the user
- Modify their organization role or event-specific permissions
See Organization Access Level Definitions and Event Access Level Definitions for detailed information.
Restricted Events
For sensitive events (like championships), consider using Event Restriction to limit who can access the event. This removes general organization access and requires explicit permission.
Common Scenarios
Verifying Staff Access Before Event
- Review the Event Access list
- Ensure all tabulation staff have appropriate access
- Remove any unnecessary access
- Add missing staff through Organization Settings
Too Many People Have Access
If access seems broader than needed:
- Note users with Full Access (Admin)
- Review organization role assignments
- Consider using Event Restriction for sensitive events
- Contact support if you need to restrict administrator access
Missing Expected User
If someone should have access but doesn't appear:
- Verify they're added to your organization
- Check their organization role
- Assign event-specific access if needed
